What are Reclaimed Bricks?
What are Reclaimed Bricks?
Reclaiming bricks is a simple process. First, used bricks are taken from demolition sites. They're cleaned up and any big chunks of mortar, concrete or other construction materials are removed.
The bricks are then quality checked and stacked onto pallets, ready for reuse.
Where are reclaimed bricks sourced from?
Where are reclaimed bricks sourced from?
At Reclaimed Brick Company we source our bricks from demolition projects nationwide, from derelict farm houses to large commercial developments. We have a vast network of contacts from whom we are able to select the best and rarest bricks to reclaim.
Why do reclaimed bricks cost more than new bricks?
Why do reclaimed bricks cost more than new bricks?
There are costs associated with sourcing and cleaning reclaimed bricks which need to be factored into the price.
As reclaimed bricks are rarer than new bricks, demand is often higher than supply which can drive up prices.
