Why Choose Reclaimed Paving Bricks?

Reclaimed Paving Bricks
Reclaimed paving bricks are a sustainable and character-rich choice for driveways, garden paths, courtyards, and patios. Salvaged from historic buildings and streets, each brick features unique tones, textures, and natural weathering that add timeless charm and authenticity to any outdoor space.
Their durability and strength make them ideal for high-traffic areas, while their rustic appearance complements both period restorations and traditional-style landscaping. Available in a variety of colours, including deep reds, soft oranges, and browns, reclaimed paving bricks offer an eco-friendly alternative to new materials—combining heritage appeal with long-lasting performance for truly distinctive outdoor designs.

Clay Pavers
Clay pavers are a durable, natural choice for outdoor surfaces such as driveways, patios, pathways, and courtyards. Made from natural clay and kiln-fired at high temperatures, these pavers are known for their strength, colourfastness, and long-lasting performance. Unlike concrete alternatives, clay pavers retain their rich tones and character over time, developing a beautiful patina with age.
Available in a range of colours, sizes, and finishes—from traditional reds and browns to sleek modern greys—clay pavers offer design versatility to suit both classic and contemporary landscapes. Low-maintenance and slip-resistant, they’re a practical and timeless solution for any outdoor project.

Herringbone Stacker Pavers
Herringbone stacker pavers are a stylish and durable choice for outdoor surfaces, combining traditional craftsmanship with a modern design twist. Laid in a distinctive herringbone pattern, these slim-format clay or concrete pavers create a visually striking finish that enhances driveways, pathways, patios, and courtyards.
Their interlocking layout not only looks elegant but also provides excellent strength and load distribution, making them ideal for high-traffic areas. Available in a range of colours—from classic reds and terracottas to contemporary charcoals—herringbone stacker pavers offer both aesthetic appeal and practical performance. Perfect for projects seeking texture, movement, and timeless kerb appeal.

Do paving bricks need sealing or treatment?
Sealing is optional. Some customers choose to seal the bricks to enhance colour and resist stains, especially in high-traffic or food prep areas.
How are they laid?
How are they laid?
Reclaimed paving bricks can be laid using sand or mortar, depending on the finish you want. For driveways or high-traffic areas, we recommend laying them on a compacted MOT Type 1 sub-base — a crushed stone material that provides essential stability and drainage.
It’s usually laid around 100–150mm thick and compacted to form a solid foundation before adding sand and placing the bricks. This helps prevent shifting, sinking, or uneven wear over time.
